Sign describing Guards Club Park: "Site of the Brigade of Guards Boat Club in the Edwardian era, when Maidenhead was a popular riverside resort. This park was created by Maidenhead Civic Society to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II 1977" Sign is mounted on red-brick wall just inside the park.
